Bensley Mourns Death Of Former Member
CHESTER, Virginia – June 14, 2007 – The Bensley-Bermuda Volunteer Rescue Squad reports with great sadness that our longtime friend committed supporter of volunteer EMS Garry Clatterbuck passed away June 12th, 2007. Garry was a great supporter of volunteer EMS and was active in VAVRS. Please join us in expressing our sympathies to Sylvia and the rest of Garry's family.
Viewing will take place on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 5pm to 7:30pm at Nelson Funeral Home Gould Chapel, located at 214 North 6th Avenue in Hopewell. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2007 beginning at 1pm. Services will take place at the Patrick Copeland Elementary School, located at 400 Westhill Road in Hopewell. It is located directly behind Hopewell High School.
Interment will take place at Southlawn Cemetary in Prince George County. A reception will be held after the services at the Hopewell Emergency Crew Building located at 102 South 10th Avenue in Hopewell.
BBVRS members attending the funeral should muster at Main Base no later than 11:30 AM on Saturday. Dress uniform and mourning band for badges have been approved by Chief Drumheller for this occasion. Members are requested to carpool to minimize impact to parking at the sites.
