Rescue 510General InformationBensley Rescue 510 has been in service for us since YEAR. It was purchased new from DEALER, and cost us COST to put on the street. It was manufactured by MANUFACTURER and delivered to us on DATE OF DELIVERY. It is ALS equipped. The unit was purchased as a Type I ambulance but was modified by Emergency Equipment Installations of Ashland, Virginia with an on board 20KV PTO generator and a Wilbilt light tower. The vehicle carries Hurst Rescue Equipment as well as other light hand tools. A 8000 lb Warn winch is mounted to the front frame and can be mounted to the rear frame for additional rescue capacity. The squad purchased this transport unit through the generous contribution of Federal Community Development Block grant, the BBVRS Auxiliary, and the John Randolph Foundation, without whom the squad could not operate. Name and Number510 is called a "Rescue Ambulance," capable of providing advanced life support transport services as well as light vehicle extrication services. The rescue is also equipped with a significant lighting package, which can be used to light our scenes at night and is also called to service to provide lighting in other areas of the county.
